Falco Continues with the Roll-out of Abellio Greater Anglia Stations with recent installations at Marks Tey, Rochford, Diss and Southend Victoria Stations

Falco has completed the roll-out of over 600 cycle parking spaces as part of the latest tranche of cycle parking facilities across a number of stations on Abellio Greater Anglia’s network of over 154 stations across the east of the UK. Pictured here are the latest installations at Marks Tey, Rochford, Diss and Southend Victoria Stations – with Witham entering completion!

The scheme which got underway in Summer last year involved the design, manufacture, supply and installation of a number of two-tier cycle parking facilities with associated FalcoRail cycle canopies to allow commuters to quickly and conveniently park their bike whilst on the go.

The latest tranche saw the following facilities added:

Two key products of the scheme are the tried and tested FalcoLevel-Premium+ two-tier cycle parking system and the EN 1090 accredited FalcoRail cycle canopy, which have been used throughout the Abellio Greater Anglia network to give cyclists using the railway the same experience across the region’s stations. When combined together, the Falco facilities create the ultimate cycle park - providing cyclists with high levels of cycle security in a spacious contemporary canopy design.

The  FalcoLevel-Premium+ is an ingenious two-tier cycle rack designed to accommodate twice as many cycles within the same space restraints or any traditional cycle rack or stand. Moving forward, the two-tier cycle racks are designed to be maintenance free to provide minimal cost of ownership to the client (only occasional cleaning required). Additionally should there be any unforeseen damage, the modular nature of each structure means that replacing any damaged items is simple and easy to undertake.
