As part of the continued roll-out of cycle parking facilities across stations within the Greater Manchester region Falco recently supplied it’s FalcoLevel two tier cycle racks to a number of jointly developed Northern Rail / TfGM cycle hubs. Pictured here is the funkily purpose designed cycle hub at Manchester’s Oxford Road Station by providing cyclists with up to 50 FalcoLevel two-tier cycle parking spaces.
Located in a modern cycle hub at the front of the station, the facility boasts up to 50 secure two-tier cycle parking spaces, CCTV, lighting and a secure access system. Oxford Road is the second busiest station in the Manchester station group and is managed by Northern Rail with a footfall of 7.5 million people per year.
Other stations which benefitted form the Falco two tier cycle racks included: Ashton-under-Lyne, Blackburn, Bolton, Salford, Hazel Grove, Eccles and Blackpool making a total of 625 cycle parking spaces as part of the Linking Places Project.
