Home Case Studies TransPennine Express Receives New Tranche of Cycle Parking Systems
A new tranche of cycle parking facilities and shelters has just been installed at a number of stations on the Northern England Rail franchise, operated by First Group’s ‘TransPennine Express’.
The scheme which got underway in February involved the manufacture, supply and installation of a number of cycle parking systems with associated canopies, along with the provision of cycle wheel stair ramps - to facilitate the process of manoeuvring bikes up and down stairs with ease.
To date, Falco has supplied TransPennine express with over 480 secure cycle parking spaces at the following stations:
Along with the above cycle facilities, Falco also supplied a series of signage to all stations detailing where to find local cycling routes as well as how to utilise each rack effectively to maximise security.
