London Borough of Ealing - First UK Installation of FalcoPathfinder Solar Powered LED Cycle Path Lights
The London Borough of Ealing is the first London Borough / UK Local Authority / UK organisation, to install the innovative FalcoPathfinder solar powered LED cycle path lights. On the \'Y\' shaped path on Ridding Lane, seven lights were installed to demonstrate these highly effective wayfinding markers and proved instantly successful.

Falco is Proud to Support Leek CSOB Football Club!
Leek CSOB Football Club approached Falco to see if they could assist in the donation of two new shelters to be used as sports dugouts at their new home at the John Pointon Sports and Recreation facility at Pointon Park, Cheddleton.

Falco Attends Bike&Go's First Birthday!
Last week saw the UK wide cycle hire scheme ‘Bike & Go’s’ first anniversary celebration. Held at Blundellsands & Crosby Railway Station in Sefton, Merseyside where the latest scheme launch went live, the event commenced with coffee and a home made cycling themed cake which featured a Bike and Go bike! Kaj Mook, Bike & Go Director, made an excellent speech regarding the scheme and uptake of cycle hire in general across the UK. Afterwards on a very sunny day, the guests were invited on a Bike & Go bike ride around the local area with a look at the Antony Gormley statues on Crosby beach.

Two members of the Falco team are celebrating over 20 years service within the cycle parking and street furniture industry! Managing Director, Jeremy Green, presented the long service awards and champagne at a presentation morning last Friday.

Solar Powered Space Shuttle Bench in Honour of First Dutch Astronaut!
Falco has manufactured, supplied and installed a futuristic space shuttle style bench with solar powered LEDs to commemorate the first Dutch astronaut - Wubbo Johannes Ockels. Wubbo was born in Almelo, Netherlands, in March 1946 and participated in a flight on a space shuttle (STS-61-A) in 1985, making him the first Dutch citizen in space!

Falco Attends Bike Week 2014 at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in London!
Last month Falco attended the Bike Week 2014 conference at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands at Hyde Park Gate in London. Bike Week is the UK’s biggest mass participation cycling event for the second year running and provides a catalyst for encouraging people to use pedal power.

Falco Donate Tools and Equipment for the ‘Together for Zambia’ Project!
Falco has donated a number of tools and equipment for the ‘Together for Zambia’ project, which focuses on young people living in Zambia who want to learn a trade in fabrication. Around half of Zambians are unemployed with more than 85% considered to be living below the poverty line.
