Falco is delighted that one of its long serving employees has been chosen to represent the main England’s mens pool team at next year’s European Championships.

Sales Co-ordinator, Ben Duffield, successfully qualified for England after progressing through the mens England trials in Great Yarmouth back in 2020.

Ben, who has been playing pool since aged 11, has represented various teams at local level, before representing his home town of Leek, then progressing onto representing his local county, Staffordshire, at junior level, then further progressing to represent Staffordshire at senior level and now qualifying to represent the mens national pool team at three international events next year.

Ben will be travelling to Killarney in the Republic of Ireland to compete in the European Championships as well as competing in the Home Nations Cup and World Championships next year.

Commenting on his qualification, Ben added “I Would like to thank all my colleagues here at Falco, for all the support I’ve received over the last couple of years to help me get to this position. I have been an employee at Falco for 10 years now and the company has always shown a great deal of support for my personal and professional development”.

Falco Managing Director, Jeremy Green, added “Ben is a rock in our sales team, since he’s been with us he’s really developed into a key employee and amongst other things heads up all of our CAD design work we do on behalf of clients. But that’s nothing compared to this, we’re over-awed by Ben’s acheivement here, representing your country in any sport really is ‘elite’ status and Ben’s absolutely smashed it here, it really doesn’t get any better than this. I can’t express how delighted we are and we wish him all the success with his career and we’ll be supporting him all the way!!!”
