As the end of another year draws to a close, we thought we’d include a recap on some of the larger Falco projects undertaken, during what has been our most successful year ever! Listed below are just a few key projects from the hundreds of schemes we have completed across the UK this year alone, three of which are a UK first!

Falco Launches UK’s First Cycle Hub with FalcoSmart App-Based Lock

Bedford Borough Council took delivery of the UK’s first ever cycle hub to feature an app-based locking mechanism. The contemporary designed FalcoHub facility located in the shopping district of Bedford town centre was manufactured and installed by Falco and features the first ever UK application of an app-based locking and booking system.

FalcoCargoBox used in the UK's first e-Cargo Bike Share Scheme

Falco designed, manufactured and installed the new e-Cargo bike storage hangars for the UK’s first e-cargo bike share scheme launched this week in Hackney. Operated by Beryl bikes on behalf of Hackney Council, the scheme is the first of its kind in the UK offering public cargo bike hire.

Falco Develops the UK’s First Keyless Bike Hangar

FalcoSmart Keyless Bike Hangar is the latest development of our FalcoSmart App-based cycle parking system for bike hangars and (cycle hubs) which removes the traditional key based locking system completely, providing hands-free/handle-less entry to any UK bike hangar.

Falco Continues with the Roll-out of Cycle Parking Infrastructure to NHS Hospitals Across the UK

Continuing with the roll-out of cycle parking infrastructure to NHS trusts across the UK, Falco has recently completed cycle parking installations for Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation, The Royal Oldham Hospital, Southend University and Basildon University NHS Hospitals, NHS Forth Valley, Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, NHS Grampian Hospitals and Newham University NHS Hospital.

Falco Completes Roll-out of Cycle Parking Infrastructure for Govia Thameslink Railway

Falco has completed the roll-out of a new tranche of over 350 cycle parking facilities across a number of Govia Thameslink Railway’s (GTR) stations. Pictured here are several of the latest installations including; Stevenage, Waterbeach, Bayford, Littleport, New Southgate, Knebworth, Ashwell & Morden, Watton at Stone and Luton Parkway stations.

Falco Completes the Roll-out of Cycle Parking Infrastructure for West Midlands Trains

Falco has completed the roll-out of the latest tranche of cycle parking facilities across Abellio West Midland’s franchised network of over 146 stations across the West Midlands. Pictured here are several of the latest installations including; Berkhamsted, Shenstone, Wellington, Stone, Stourbridge Junction, Dudley Port, Watford Junction and Sutton Coldfield Stations!

Falco Takes Off at Manchester Airport

Falco has just completed the design, manufacture, supply and installation of three bays of multi-function FalcoZan-180 cycle shelters complete with two-tier cycle racks for Manchester Airport! Providing passengers and visitors to the airport with high levels of cycle security, each bay accommodates up to 18 bikes, providing a total 54 cycle parking spaces, all conveniently located outside Manchester Airport Railway Station, adjacent to the Radisson Blu Hotel.

TfL Underground Stations Receive Falco Cycle Parking Infrastructure

Falco has completed the roll-out of secure cycle parking infrastructure to four stations on the London Underground Network on behalf of Transport for London. Pictured here are recent installations at Chorley Wood, Newbury Park, Hatton Cross and East Finchley.

FalcoPod Bike Hangars Roll-out for the London Borough of Westminster

Falco is delighted to be working with the team at the London Borough of Westminster to roll-out their next phase of residential bike hangars! The FalcoPods were installed this Winter and residents from the borough are now enjoying access to the latest on-street bike hangars.

FalcoPod Bike Hangars Roll-out for the London Borough of Merton

The London Borough of Merton is the latest local authority to receive the UK’s most user-friendly Bike Hangar design the FalcoPod. Falco is delighted to be working with the south-west London Council to roll-out their first phase of residential bike hangars. The FalcoPods were installed this spring and residents from the borough are now enjoying access to the latest on-street bike hangars.
